Goa / India

With its fine sand, turquoise waters, lakes, waterfalls and its mountains, Goa (state in southwestern India) is an idyllic spot, considered by many among the most romantic destinations. The mixture of Indian and Portuguese culture attracts millions of tourists every year.

Cruises are best to visit this region, the most famous being the Mandovi River. Those who are fans of water sports can try absolutely anything that comes to mind at Dona Paula, located 7 km from Panajii. From here, opens a magnificent view over the river estuary and Zaur Mormugao port.
Of the many beaches in Goa, Calangute is one of the most popular coconut plantations increasing its charm. In the '60s, '70s hippie youth was known as the Mecca of Europe. Today, Calangute means with thermal water spas, massage parlors and supermarkets. If the golden sands continues to enchant millions of tourists, the church complex on the street or Alex Kerker art are additional attractions.
